St. Michael's for Girls, Siliguri, hosted a series of dynamic and thrilling Inter-House tournaments in 2023 and 2024, providing a platform for students to demonstrate their athleticism, teamwork, and competitive spirit across various sports. One of the standout events was the Inter-House Throwball Tournament, held on 12th May 2023, where the excitement reached its peak in the final match between Blue House and Red House from Division-A. After a fierce and intense battle, Blue House emerged victorious with an impressive 200 points, while Red House secured the second position with 150 points. In 2024, the Inter-House Carrom Tournament showcased the exceptional talent and precision of students from all divisions. Green House claimed the top spot in Division A, while Blue House displayed their dominance by excelling in both Division B and Division C, ultimately earning the title of overall winners. These tournaments not only showcased individual talent but also emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, strategic thinking, and team spirit among the students.

In addition to these, the Inter-House Chess Tournament 2024 demonstrated the strategic skills of students from classes V to X, with Red House (Division C), Blue House (Division B), and Green House (Division A) clinching the top positions. The Inter-House Kabaddi Tournament, held on 25th April 2023, added to the competitive excitement, with Blue House taking first place in Division-A (Classes VIII to X) and Division-C (Classes II to V), while Yellow House triumphed in Division-B (Classes VI to VII). These tournaments reflected the students' dedication and sportsmanship, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and achievement.

St. Michael's School for Girls, Siliguri, is overjoyed to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at the 20th National Taekwon-Do Championship, which took place from 28th to 30th December 2024 in Bardoli, Surat, Gujarat. This prestigious event saw exceptional performances, with the West Bengal Taekwondo Association securing the 2nd Runners-up position in the overall team standings, marking a significant milestone for the state’s taekwondo community. ✨ Notable Achievements: Sarveshi Sinha (Class 5) demonstrated her skill and resilience by winning Gold in Sparring, Gold in Pattern, and Bronze in Group Pattern. Vidushi Sinha (Class 10) impressed everyone with a Gold in Sparring and a Bronze in Pattern. Baidehi Laskar (Class 4) showed great determination, clinching Bronze in Sparring, Bronze in Pattern, and Bronze in Group Pattern. These incredible accomplishments are a true testament to the students' talent, hard work, and unwavering determination. Their performances exemplify the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of our champions. A special round of applause goes to the entire West Bengal Taekwondo Team, whose collective effort brought home the prestigious 2nd Runners-up title!
